Mohammed Ayman Barber, President of the City Council has announced that the Council was making intensive efforts to secure basic services and facilities for the City under the harsh conditions experienced by the City and its inhabitants, along with providing aid to needy residents, he noted that the Council also works to increase its own resources through the issuance of necessary decisions and amending certain decisions to facilitate vital projects and basic facilities that meet the needs of citizens and contribute to the improvement of services and development.
Mohammed Nway member of the Executive Bureau of the Council during the Council's regular session today said that the Council is working to provide shelter for the displaced, either in schools or kindergartens, the 140 schools and 50 mosques and 20 housing units on campus and leads the relief works concerning the Council at this stage in cooperation with the official authorities and local partners, as well as among students for continuing education.
