Syria: UN “Grave Concern” But No Condemnation For Israeli Air Raid On Syria

U.N. Secretary-General Ban Ki-moon expressed "grave concern" on Thursday over reports that Israeli jets bombed a convoy near the Lebanese border, apparently hitting weapons destined for Lebanese militant group Hezbollah.
"The Secretary-General notes with grave concern reports of Israeli air strikes in Syria," Ban's press office said in a statement. "The Secretary-General calls on all concerned to prevent tensions or their escalation ... and to strictly abide by international law, in particular in respect of territorial integrity and sovereignty of all countries in the region."
The Syrian Government denies Israel bombed a supposed convoy, and says the Israeli air force planes violated Syrian Air Space at dawn, and proceeded to bomb a Science Research Centre, klling 2 people and injuring seven, in addition to destroying the Centre.
The UN is yet to condemn this latest act of aggression by Israel, in an unprovoked attack against Syria that violated many laws in addition to killing innocent Syrians, and destroyed a Science Research Centre.
The Question begs, what would the UN's reaction be if Syria had carried out this act against Israel ?...JA
