Turkish Authorities Arrest Lawyer Selcuk Kozagacli Following His Visit to Syria
ANKARA, (SANA) – The Turkish authorities on Sunday arrested chairman of the Contemporary Lawyers' Association (CHD) in Turkey, lawyer Selcuk Kozagacli, following his visit to Syria.
Kozagacli was arrested upon his arrival at Istanbul airport from Beirut.
Earlier, the Turkish police arrested 85 figures at least, including 15 lawyers nine of which are members of the CHD, and issued arrest warrants for Kozagacli and the head of the Istanbul branch of CHD, charging them with being part of a prohibited group.
