Syria: Terrorists Suffer Heavy Losses in Several Areas

PROVINCES, (SANA)_ Units of the Armed Forces on Saturday carried out qualitative operations against terrorists' hideouts in al-Mleiha and Erbeen, destroying big amounts of their weapons and ammunition, including anti-aircraft canons.

An official source told SANA reporter that the Armed Forces destroyed a warehouse of weapons and ammunition in Erbeen town and inflicted heavy losses upon the terrorists inside the warehouse.

The leader of the so-called "Ansar al-Islam" terrorist group, Abdulslam Hamed, in addition to Jameel al-Shaghouri, Muhammed al-Razmo and Mohammed al-kamadani were identified among the dead terrorists.

The source added that another unit destroyed a 23mm anti-aircraft canon while they pursed a terrorist group in al-Sheifoniya farms in Douma city, killing three of them.

Meanwhile, another unit of the Armed Forces killed and injured members of a terrorist group in Douma.

The terrorists Maher Rajha and Mohammed Heider were identified among the killed.

In the meantime, other units of Armed Forces continued pursuing the terrorists in al-Mleiha, killing and wounded a number of them, as the others escaped leaving their weapons to the back surrounding farms of the town.

Terrorists' Gatherings and Dens Targeted in Idleb

A unit of the armed forces destroyed dens and gatherings for terrorists, along with a number of cars equipped with various weapons in Salqin city, Idleb countryside.

SANA quoted a source in the province as saying that several terrorists were killed and others injured in the operation.

Authorities Arrest Terrorists, Confiscate Weapons in al-Hasaka

Meanwhile, authorities in Hasaka province confiscated last night individual weapons and grenades belonging to terrorists.

A source in the province told SANA reporter that a number of terrorists who are involved in kidnapping and looting operations in Hasaka province were arrested.

Terrorists Killed in Damascus Countryside in Fight over Stolen Goods

A number of terrorists were killed and others were wounded as two armed terorist groups clashed over sharing the goods they have looted in Yabroud area in Damascus countryside.

An official source told SANA reporter that the terrorists used machineguns and grenades during the clashes in Yabroud farms.

The source added that the clashes between the terrorists led to killing and wounding the majority of them, including leader of an armed terrorist group, Mustafa Kahaleh.

The source pointed out that an army unit eliminated members of an armed terrorist group in al-Nabek area and destroyed a number of cars loaded with weapons and ammunition.

In al-Zabadani, an army unit clashed with an armed terrorist group and eliminated most of its members, including terrorist Munir Abdul-Rahman al-Namous.
