Syria: Terrorists Killed, Mines and Explosive Devices Dismantled in Several Provinces

PROVINCES, (SANA) - Units of the Armed Forces on Thursday confronted an armed terrorist group and killed a large number of terrorists, in addition to seizing their weapons, in Abdeen and Haifoon in Damascus Countryside.

A military source told SANA reporter that the operation resulted in destroying a machinegun-equipped vehicle and a mini-bus, killing all the terrorists inside it.

The source added that the army also targeted an armed terrorist group in southeastern of Deir Atiyeh in Damascus Countryside, killing a number of terrorists.

The Army Inflicts Heavy Losses upon Terrorists in Aleppo

A unit of the Armed Forces repelled an armed terrorist group which tried to enter al-Amiriyeh area in Aleppo city.

The army members inflicted heavy losses upon the group, killing several of its members while injuring others.

In a relevant context, another unit of the Armed forces targeted a gathering for terrorists in al-Sheikh Said neighborhood in Aleppo, killing an injuring most of them.

Terrorists Killed, 4 Mines Dismantled in Daraa

In Daraa, a unit of the Armed forces killed a number of terrorists in Busr al-Harir and Busra al-Sham in the countryside of the province, in addition to dismantling four mines planted by terrorists on the roads.

Large Number of Terrorists Killed, Machinegun-equipped Vehicles Destroyed in Idleb

Meanwhile, an army unit eliminated large numbers o terrorists in al-Basel Forest and near the central prison in Idleb, in addition to destroying a number of vehicles equipped with machineguns.

Explosive Devices Dismantled in Hama

The engineering units dismantled a number of explosive devices planted by terrorists on the road between Hama, Mhardeh and al-Sqailbiyeh. The weight of the dismantled explosive devices ranged between 25 to 40 kg.

Terrorists' Attempt to Attack Military Position in Hasaka Repelled

A unit of the Armed Forces repelled an armed terrorist group which attempted to attack one of the military positions to the north of Hasaka city.

A military source in the province told SANA reporter that the operation resulted in killing a number of terrorists and injuring others, in addition to destroying their machinegun-equipped vehicles.
