New videos show Syrian militants committing war crimes

New videos have surfaced online showing foreign-sponsored militants committing more terrorist acts in Syria.


One of the videos, posted on the internet recently, shows heavily armed men shooting down a civilian airliner in the city of Dayr al-Zawr in eastern Syria.

Another video uploaded to a social media website shows a militant attack on the Taftanaz military airport in the northwest of the country.

The footage shows militants firing truck-mounted weapons and a tank on fire.

Another video shows militants from the al-Qaeda linked al-Nusra Front executing three Syrian Army soldiers, who were reportedly captured by the terrorists in Dayr al-Zawr.

Meanwhile, in the northwestern governorate of Idlib, Syrian troops engaged two militant groups with the assistance of local residents. The official SANA news agency reported that all of the men were killed and their weapons were seized.

On Sunday, the Syrian Army killed a large number of militants in the cities of Daraya, an-Nabk, Homs, Hama, and Douma.

On the same day, a unit of the Syrian armed forces ambushed militants in the town of Tebat al-Imam in the countryside near Hama and seized weapons.

A Syrian Army unit also confiscated weapons and munitions from militants who were travelling in a vehicle in the town of Nawa in the countryside near Daraa.

Syria has been experiencing unrest since mid-March 2011. Many people, including large numbers of security personnel, have been killed in the violence.

The Syrian government says the chaos is being orchestrated from outside the country, and there are reports that a very large number of the militants fighting the Syrian government are foreign nationals.

And several international human rights organizations have accused the foreign-sponsored militants of committing war
