France Press Agency stated that severe clashes occurred between Kurdish fighters and Radical Islamists in Raas al-Ein border area with Turkey.
An opposition activist called Havidar stated to the agency that the members of al-Qaeda linked al-Nusra Front crossed the Turkish borders, driving 3 tanks, and entered Raas al-Ein.
A resident in the area, called Muhammad, revealed that the battles got tough when the Kurdish members received reinforcement to confront the severe attacks by the insurgents.
Muhammad said that the gunmen are from al-Nusra Front, Ghurabaa al-Sham and Ahfad al-Rasoul groups.
