Yemen's National Human Rights Association in a statement announced that more than 100 bodies of Yemeni prisoners are being kept in a hospital in al-Khoubeh city and the Saudi regime has jailed more than 3,000 Yemenis in Najran and other Saudi prisons, Yemeni Press news website reported.
The family of al-Ezzi al-Reimi, a 15-year-old Yemeni boy has informed the Yemeni human rights watchdog that their son has been killed as a consequence of the brutal behavior of the Saudi security forces.
Yesterday, a large number of Yemeni people on Sunday staged a protest rally in front of Saudi Arabia's Embassy in the capital Sana'a, and called for the freedom of Yemeni prisoners who are in custody of the Saudi regime for no legal excuse.
Tens of Yemeni protesters and human rights activists of non-governmental organizations gathered in front of the Saudi Embassy in the Yemeni capital, Sana'a.
The protesters stressed that the arrested Yemenis should be released as soon as possible, saying that the charges brought against them are illegal.
They also lashed out at the Yemeni government's negative stance towards the jailed Yemenis in Saudi Arabia.
The protesters also called on human rights organizations to defend the rights of the Yemeni people in Saudi Arabia.
Last year, an 18-year-old Yemeni youth died of torture in a prison of the Saudi intelligence agency, a member of the country's Civil and Political Rights Association said.
Mohammad al-Qahtani said that the youth died of severe torture by jail officers in October.
There was no information why the Yemeni man had been imprisoned in Saudi Arabia.
