Syria: Haidar: National Reconciliation is the Project of the Syrian State

DAMASCUS, (SANA) - Minister of State for National Reconciliation Affairs, Dr. Ali Haidar, stressed that national reconciliation is the project of the Syrian state.
In an interview on the Syrian TV on Tuesday, Minister Haidar said that the Ministry supports all initiatives that contribute to the reconciliation efforts.
He noted that the issues of kidnapped and arrested persons are vital issues to the Ministry, calling upon all citizens to cooperate with the Ministry and inform on any arrested or kidnapped person.
He highlighted that accusing the security forces of kidnapping persons is "untrue and baseless", adding that sometimes the kidnappers use stolen or counterfeit military or security IDs, underlining the role of citizens in this regard in informing authorities on such acts.
He said that the crisis in Syria has affected all aspects of life, adding that the situation requires emergency plans that include all aspects, specially providing the basic needs for citizens.
He concluded by saying "I assure all citizens that the Syrian economy is strong and can hold for very long time because of the coherence of the Syrian social structure."
