Al Qaeda FSA terrorists in their quest to destroy the infrastructure of Syria has attacked Aleppo's Electricity Power Station today.
The attack came when a group of terrorists shelled the fuel containers in the station with mortar fire that led to taking 1,050 MegaWatt out of the service which resulted in disconnecting electricity from certain neighborhoods in the city totally.
Imad Khamis, Minister of Electricity in Syria confirmed the attack and gave instructions to the maintenance teams in the ministry to arrange fixing the damage in the station as soon as possible despite all the dangers.
Destroying the infrastructure of Syria comes very much in line with the NATO member countries to achieve their goals in weakining the Syrian state in order to topple it and install a puppet regime in its place, and also to create contracts for their companies to rebuild the infrastructure at the account of the Syrian people; of course, nobody better than Al Qaeda FSA terrorists can carry out such attacks.
On November 23, 2012, we reported how the same Al Qaeda FSA terrorists destroyed Damascus International Airport Electricity Power Transformers endangering the lives of hundreds of passengers travelling through the airport.
Ministry of Electricity stated that the direct losses due to terrorists attacks against the electricity sector in Syria amounted to SYP 10 Billion till October 2012.
