Electricity in Hama Broke off Due to Terrorist Attack on Mahardeh Thermal Station

HAMA, (SANA)-A unit of the armed forces on Wednesday inflicted heavy losses upon members of an armed terrorist group who were trying to infiltrate to Mahradeh Thermal Station for generating electric power after they stormed it and sabotaged high voltage towers.
A military source told SANA reporter that a number of the armed group's members were killed and many others were wounded.. Ahmad al-Eliwi, nicknamed as "al-Osfour", was identified among the killed.
Minister of Electricity Emad Khamis said in a statement to SANA that the terrorist attack made the electric station completely out of work, so the break off electricity in the majority of Hama and its countryside.
